Gas inflow was obtained at "Aknazar" field

On 14 July 2023, ERIELL Group specialists completed drilling and development of horizontal well No. 8G at "Aknazar" field located in Kashkadarya region. As a result of the work performed, a commercial gas flow of 170 thousand cubic metres per day was obtained.

The actual bottom hole of the well drilled by the specialists of the Karshi expedition of the Group of Companies was 3609 metres.

Modernisation of ZJ 90 drilling rig

ERIELL Group has an extensive fleet of its own drilling rigs of ZJ series of DBS type. They are highly automated systems with electric drive control, having outstanding productivity and economy. The rigs are characterised by simplicity of operation, which significantly reduces physical labour during drilling operations.

ERIELL Group specialists have modernised the manifold system of the ZJ 90 DBS drilling rig and now it is designed for 52 MPa pressure.

Unique in Central Asia, the ZJ90DBS drilling rig is equipped with the unique DQ750 Top Power Drive (TPL). The maximum hook load of this drive is 6750 kN. The rated power of the HSP motor is 1080 kW and the rated working pressure is 52 MPa.

ZJ series includes various models of drilling rigs: ZJ 20, ZJ 30, ZJ 40, ZJ 70 DBS and LDB, as well as the most powerful and largest among them - drilling rig ZJ 90 DBS. Numbers in the model names (20, 30, 40, 70, 90) indicate the conventional drilling depth. For example, the ZJ 90 DBS drilling rig can drill to a depth of 9000 metres.

All these models are used by the Group of Companies on various objects.

Successful development of ERIELL Group specialists

On the territory of Uzbekistan, a field is being developed to extract fluid by drilling wells and injecting high-temperature steam inside, where the steam temperature reaches 300 °C. This location requires a special cement that can withstand cyclically varying temperatures ranging from 22 to 300 °C to securely anchor the casing strings.

Initially, such cement came from abroad and was very expensive. Therefore, under the guidance of the Head of the Well Support Service and the Head of the Laboratory of Plugging Slurries, the development of a local analogue of high-temperature resistant cement was initiated. The development process included many analyses to select the optimal components that would provide high temperature resistance similar to foreign cement.

With the participation of laboratory engineers and under the guidance of the Well Support Service, a cement mixture was created that is as good as its foreign analogue. After successful agreement with the Company's Management and the Customer, the developed mixture started to be used at the fields.

The new formula is also successfully used for cementing deep wells with high temperatures and pressure, which allows the operation process to be more efficient and safe.
